Help for depleted moms (the latest on The Simple Mom Podcast!)
The latest podcast is up! In this episode, I’m talking with long-time Simple Mom contributor Lisa Byrne of WellGrounded Life. I like to think of Lisa as my own personal health and wellness coach, which isn’t at all true, because she’s available to help everybody. But she’s just been so invaluable to me over the years… I really am thankful for Lisa’s wealth of wisdom when it comes to taking care of myself. I took one of her courses this spring, and I learned so much.
In this episode, Lisa and I chat about how to handle the onslaught of heavy, overwhelming holiday food on the horizon; how to exercise in winter weather; tips for avoiding typical cold weather illnesses; and generally, finding time to take care of your health as a mom.
Seriously. This is a great podcast. Chock full of information. I took notes while I was chatting with her, and I don’t usually do that when I record my own podcasts. (I also found out what smell she doesn’t like, and… well, let’s just say it’s a travesty.)
So get out your laundry pile, or just steep your tea and take a break—head here to find the latest episode and all the show notes, or you can head directly to iTunes. (And if you’re so inclined, would you mind leaving a review there if you like the show? It’ll help more people find it.)
Enjoy!
