Happy New Year!

I hope you had a lovely evening last night.  I’ve got a set of questions to help you set some realistic, life-affirming, and encouraging goals for 2009 – but they’re coming tomorrow.

Today, I’m over at the brand new Simple Mom forums, for the first day of the Sound Mind, Sound Mom Book Club. Come join me!  This week we’re discussing only the preface and prologue of our first selection, Your Money or Your Life.

Even if you haven’t yet started the book, come on over, register as a user, and join in the conversation.  I look forward to hearing your thoughts.  Feel free to pose any questions or thoughts you may have about the preface or prologue, or you can simply answer the questions I’ve already thrown out.

Setting up a forum is new to me, so please give me grace as I work out the kinks.  And let me know if you see any goofy holes or spots where a tweak is needed!

I’m looking forward to our Thursdays together in a good book.

  1. Happy New Year to you too 🙂

This book is the best ever choice to read at the beginning of a New Year. I’m going to be reading it along with you.

  2. I’ve signed up! I’m very much looking forward to this book, and to the book group in general.

  4. This is a great book, particularly as a first-of-the-year read. I read this book years ago and it changed my life. I’m not a big fan of “self-help” books, but this one is an exception!

  11. I just registered, and I wanted to tell anyone who hasn’t started reading yet that the questions up right do not (necessarily) require you having started the book to get you thinking about the questions and issues brought up by the introduction. Go check it out even if you haven’t read yet!
