Weekend Links

Valentine”s Day is just over a week away– here are a few inspiring links for a greener take on the holiday of love.

My Green Valentine :: One Part Sunshine
Valentine”s Day Type Items :: Angry Chicken
Recycled Book Valentine Cards :: Recycled Lovelies
Everything You Need For a Green Valentine”s Day :: The Daily Green
:: Simple Mom

I”ve always been one to thoroughly enjoy Valentine”s Day, if nothing else, than to have a fun, simple day to celebrate those we love with little tokens of affection. I hope these links inspire you to make your Valentine”s Day a little less commercial and a little more homemade and meaningful.

If you”re looking for a way to make a difference far beyond your own reach this Valentine”s Day, consider purchasing a set of these adorable cards from our former editor Katie and her family in support of their upcoming adoption, or check out this beautiful selection of cards that benefit the organization Love 146, put together by our contributor Megan of SortaCrunchy.

Happy Anniversary, Simple Living Media!

This weekend we are celebrating the one year anniversary of the complete network of blogs that make up Simple Living Media, of which we at Simple Organic are a proud member. If you haven”t read it yet, be sure to head over to Simple Mom today where you can read a little more of our history and find a list of some of Tsh”s favorite posts from throughout the network. It”s a true blessing for me to be working alongside the other amazing editors at SLM.
