Weekend links

Heidi, my friend at Mt. Hope Chronicles, recently took photos of my family. She did a pretty sweet job, in my opinion—head here to check them out, if that’s your thing.

The winners of yesterday’s Chantelle Nicole Designs giveaway are Maia and Sandy Rybka. Congrats, ladies! Check for an email from me in your inbox.

  2. I LOVE the family photos and how unposed they are. It really shows off everyone’s personalities…beautiful!

  3. What beautiful pictures!

  4. Wow, that WSJ article/image is so fantastic! It’s clear and easy to understand. Hubby and I have a new project to tackle in the next few weeks. Thanks for the motivation and information.

  5. Maybe one day I’ll be in these weekend links. 😉

  6. Oh, the Motherhood is a Calling article…just what I needed to read. “Live the gospel in the things that no one sees.” Her book, Loving the Little Years, is fantastic.

  7. i like the “How to Create Your Own Instagallery” article. thanks.

  8. Tiffany Larson says:

My husband was recently asked by one of his friends, “How does Tiffany deal with the stigma of being a SAHM?” Seriously, that is how society views a SAHM. So I posted the “Motherhood is a Calling” post on FB – here’s hoping they will read it and figure out how I “deal” with it.

    • How sad that people think that way! There’s actually a stigma?? Keep on staying home, mama!!

      • Tiffany Larson says:

Yes, I live on the West Coast and I think you’ll find here that more moms work than in the Midwest and South. In fact, I am the only one out of my friends that stays home.

Thanks for the encouragement, I LOVE staying home!

        • I came to the town I now live in as a non working wife. I know have a young son, so the SAHM moniker applies now, and all the women I’ve met and call friends are usually SAHM’s too. I do know work outisde of home moms, but because of their schedule, don’t get to hang out with them as much.

  9. Thanks for the link, Tsh! You’re the best. 🙂

  10. I love family photo shoots like this, we need to do the same!!

I liked the WSJ link, thanks!
