  1. Hey, just wanted to let you know the first two links both go to the same place. I’m super interested in reading the Protect your time post, love the weekend links!!

  2. Tsh, sorry to complain about a detail when you’re doing such a great thing with this Project Simplify, but…

I really would have liked to enter the ‘I Heart Organising’ giveaway, but you told us we had until 8 a.m. CST today so I thought I still had a few more hours to post my links. Now it seems you’ve already drawn it. OK, the odds are I wouldn’t have won… but I’m still disappointed at having missed out on my chance. and a bit miffed about it as your post did give 8 a.m. today as the deadline. Next time, could you wait until the deadline you gave until doing the draw?

    • Dr. Sarah,

I thought of this at church this morning — I was just going along, then had that “Eeek!” feeling inside and my stomach dropped. I completely meant to change the deadline time to noon on Sundays because last week, it was too crazy for me to end the entries at 8 a.m., then draw and announce all before church (so that the post could go live). So I thought I’d do noon instead, making it easier on me. Well, my brain just fritzed last night. I closed the lotion giveaway, and just being in the habit of ending giveaways at midnight (like I usually do), I mindlessly ended this one as well.

I am so, so sorry. I remembered today, and tried to run home as soon as I could to make an apology. You beat me to the punch.

I can understand being disappointed. And absolutely, in the countless giveaways we’ve had on Simple Mom, we’ve always, always waited until the deadline. My brain just short-circuited on this one.

May I ask for your forgiveness? And is there anything I can do to make up for it?

      • Absolutely you’re forgiven, Tsh – we all make mistakes and it’s comforting for me to know I’m not the only one who does things like that! My bad luck that I didn’t have the post in in time this week, but, let’s face it, odds are I wouldn’t have won anyway – and I now have a tidy computer table, thanks to you, so that’s a much better prize anyway. ;-)

        • Thanks for your graciousness, Dr. Sarah. Live in Austin? Because I make some killer brownies, and I’d be happy to leave them on your doorstop. :)

Basically, this was a stellar reminder for me that I work MUCH better in the morning. After 9 p.m.? Not so much. Lesson learned the hard way for me.

  3. Tsh, thank you for linking to me, you are so sweet! I cant wait to go check out all the other linky goodies here!

  4. I’m not sure where to mention this… the my yahoo rss feed reader isn’t working. It shows posts from simple mom months ago. I’ve tried removing it and re subscribing, but it doesn’t work. There’s probably nothing that can be done, but I thought I’d mention it anyway. :(

  5. good morning, tsh! i am so humbled to be featured here in your weekend round up.
i have to admit i was a little afraid to share all of these things i’ve been storing up in my heart. but i’m so encouraged that there are others who can relate. thank you!
