If a woman has to choose between catching a fly ball and saving an infant’s life, she will choose to save the infant’s life without even considering if there are men on base. -Dave Barry

  1. Thanks so much for the link to Steady Mom, Tsh!

  2. I love the pumpkin latte recipe! We’ve got lots of pumpkins right now from local farm families and I plan to keep a few cups of pumpkin puree on hand in the fridge during the next few weeks for some autumn recipes. This sounds like a perfect treat for me and my daughters (with almond milk). Yum!

Thanks too for the corn syrup link. I am apparently also part of the Borg. 🙂

  3. Thank you so much for the blog on the corn syrup issue. It has become a matter of study for me as I am trying to get our family to begin eating healthier. No wonder we can’t loose weight, when everything we eat has excess sugar now added to it, plus; it made me think about so many friends who have children labeled ADD and ADHD….hmmmm, could all this sugar be adding to the cause?
Love to read you e-mails. Keep up the great work.

  4. Thanks for these! I loved the sounds of the pumpkin latte but wanted to make it simpler and vegan. My kids and I ended up coming up with our own recipes (including one for pumpkin almond milk) after looking at the basics. They were delicious and will be new fall traditions here. 🙂

Loved the corn syrup article too. I guess I’m part of the borg!

  5. Thanks so much for the link to my magnolia wreath! Happy Fall to you.
