Weekend links

…and yesterday I wrote on my personal blog as an encouragement to my fellow bloggers—that it’s more than okay to take a break when you need it.

The winners of a copy of The Nesting Place are Lillian, Kelly, Julie, Jami, and Heather. Congrats! Look for an email from us soon. And everyone else, get thee the book! You’ll love it. And it makes a great Mother’s Day gift, so buy two!

  1. LOVED the piece by Hands Free Mama, and the lightning bug analogy….

Having just announced that I will be leaving FB, twitter mid-month, in antic of taking a few months off of my blog, I am so curious to read your piece on blog breaks but I think everyone else might have clicked over there immediately too and crashed your site b/c it’s not pulling up!! Can’t wait to read your always thoughtful take on this….

  2. As always, stellar stuff on your weekend links!

  3. That coffee looks bulletproof!

  4. What great links. I always love these posts. And that Annie Dillard quote is one of my all-time favorites. xox

  5. Heather Stover says:

I have to ask….which Heather won???;). Thee were 3 Heathers I believe….just so curious!

  6. Thank you so much for sharing my firefly piece. As a huge fan of your work, I am truly honored to be mention in your beautiful space!

Also, thank you for the blogging break post. I have been seriously contemplating a significant break from the online world this summer so I can move my family to a new state and really take time to get familiar with our new surroundings. Your inspiring message was just what I needed to confirm that would be a GREAT decision.

Thank you for all the incredible work that you do!
