Weekend links

“Creativity is more than just being different. Anybody can plan weird; that’s easy. What’s hard is to be as simple as Bach. Making the simple, awesomely simple, that’s creativity” –Charles Mingus

  1. I like the switch to Saturday for the weekend links. It’s perfect for my lazy Saturday morning breakfasts. 🙂

  2. I’ll second Cori!

Sitting here with my cup of coffee and drooling over the workspaces.

Also, loved the Instagram article. I read something similar on Fast Company about how Facebook causes envy, but it didn’t have the great “so what do we do” part that this article did. Thank you!

  3. I’m so glad you linked to Jen Hatmaker’s post. I read it last week and loved it! And thank you for the link to the Instragram Evny article on social media. A friend of mine recently sat on a panel discussing postpartum depression and many of these same points came up. Several of the moms said part of the reason they felt so isolated was that they saw so many images of other moms having such and “easy time” with their babies. It was interesting what happened when these moms met face to face and they said “Wait, I thought you were doing so well! You always look so happy on Facebook!”

  4. Have a gorgeous weekend!
