A note about Facebook

Sigh… I have such a love-hate relationship with Facebook. So many of you are on there, which I love—it’s a great place to connect with you. BUT, even if you’ve “liked” Simple Mom, there’s a really good chance you’re not seeing the updates. Grr.

So if you want to make sure you’re not missing anything on there, after you “like” the page, hover over what is now the “liked” button, and select “Get in news feed.” That way, you won’t miss any of the life-changing, super-important Facebook updates. Nicole, editor of Simple Homemade, recently shared on her personal blog some great tips for making Facebook more usable.

Happy weekend!

  1. Oh Facebook. Always messing with a good thing. ;)

(By the way, I was commenting at Sorta Crunchy the other day, congratulating Megan on 7 years of blogging, and I realized my FB account is almost 8 years old! Started it in May 2005. So, I’ve had FB for about 1/4 of my life, which is VERY bizarre.)

  5. Love that article from Anne Lamott – so many pearls of wisdom as we are beginning this year and imagining all that it can hold. I’m not a writer, but her words speak to me in other ways of creativity and expression. (And I love that you shared from Sunset.com!)
