Weekend giveaway: Plan to Eat

This giveaway is closed.

Today’s giveaway comes from loyal monthly sponsor Plan to Eat, a genius little online program that pretty much does everything for you but actually cook your meals.

This is a simple tool that allows you to store your favorite recipes (and import them from around the Internet!), create menu plans using those recipes, and even provide grocery lists based on those same recipes.

My favorite feature? How astonishingly simple it is. Its clean interface allows for intuitive interaction — it took me mere seconds to get my account up and running, and I had my weekly menu plan created in minutes.

You can share recipes with others on Plan to Eat, you can organize your grocery lists by store, and you can tag your recipes in infinite ways. You can even track nutritional information and cost breakdown of all of your recipes and menus! And for those of you that love going paperless, you can use Plan to Eat’s mobile app to carry all your menu planning with you. No more accidentally leaving the house without your grocery list.

Take a tour of Plan to Eat to learn about more of its features… I’m still finding new ones! Oh, and you can look me up — my username is ‘tsh’ (creative, no?).

In the meantime, you can sign up for a free, 30-day trial.

Plan to Eat is offering fun cookware for three Simple Mom readers — one programmable 6-quart Crock Pot, and two immersion blenders!

To win one of these three items, simply leave any comment on this post. If you’re reading this in an email, you must click over to the post and comment here.

This giveaway will end tonight, Saturday, June 25 at 11:59 p.m. I’ll announce the winner soon after. I hope you win!

  2. Kristi Pereira says:

I’ve broken 2 blenders over the course of several years and would really love another chance at owning one. : ) Also, just finished ‘Organized Simplicity’ and after all my facebook posts about it, I’ve got people asking about it. LOVED IT! Also (and this is the last thing) I’ve worked with Carly Webb for the past 3 years in Waco, who tells me you went to UT together. Such a small world!

  25. That’s the kind of site I need to get organized. I’ve tried and tried to organize my recipes at home and streamline my menu planning, but it just isn’t working out like I’d hoped. I don’t think my brain works that way. Crossing my fingers in hopes of winning one of those great prizes!

  32. Molly Cavanaugh says:

Oh my! The immersion blenders would be so helpful for my family! (Note: I’m not trying to pull the pity card, just explaining why haha :P) Dad just finished his treatments for throat cancer and it left a lot of sores in his throat so finding food that he can swallow is difficult. Blending and chopping food helps.

I wish my mom would take up the Plan to Eat program. Maybe I’ll have to use it and start cooking. Our family needs to start eating healthier asap haha.

  100. I took the tour and decided it was worth a 1 month free trial. I like the weekly (or monthly) meal planner to shopping list idea; however, I’m wondering how this works when you prepare things without a recipe, like steamed broccoli and grilled salmon.
    Thanks for the lead. 🙂
