Weekend giveaway: Plan to Eat

This giveaway has now ended.

Looking for the spot to share your before and after photos for Project Simplify? Head to yesterday’s post to find out. You’ve got until tonight—can’t wait to see them!

Today’s giveaway comes from loyal monthly sponsor Plan to Eat, a genius little online program that pretty much does everything for you but actually cook your meals.

This is a simple tool that allows you to store your favorite recipes (and import them from around the Internet!), create menu plans using those recipes, and even provide grocery lists based on those same recipes.

My favorite feature? How simple it is. Its clean interface allows for intuitive interaction — it took me mere seconds to get my account up and running, and I had my weekly menu plan created in minutes.

This is a great tool for busy families with hungry kids.

You can share recipes with others on Plan to Eat, you can organize your grocery lists by store, and you can tag your recipes in infinite ways. You can even track nutritional information and cost breakdown of all of your recipes and menus! And for those of you that love going paperless, you can use Plan to Eat’s mobile app to carry all your menu planning with you. No more accidentally leaving the house without your grocery list.

Take a tour of Plan to Eat to learn about more of its features.

Plan to Eat is offering an yearly subscription for five Simple Mom readers!

To win, simply leave any comment on this post. (And if you’re reading this in an email, you must click over to the post and comment here.)

This giveaway will end tonight, Saturday, March 10. I’ll announce the winner soon after. I hope you win!

  7. Sarah Jane says:

I have been planning to look into this for a while. I’m taking this as a sign to get to it! I work full time (3 12hr shifts 6a-6p and add an additional 8hr shift every other week) and have three kids. Dinner has to be ready or planned before I arrive home or our night is shot. I have about two hours to feed, bathe, and snuggle with the kiddos before they need to be in bed. My husband does a great job with the kids, but planning menus and grocery list is a challenge for both of us. Seems we have a lot of food, just nothing to make a meal! Hoping this will help us get more organized and eating better.

  8. I had a trial when it very first came out and loved it. I’m sure it has gotten even better over time!

  9. With kid number 3 on the way, this could very well be a life saver! Thanks for the chance!

  48. One of the things I’m terrible about being consistent with is meal planning. I go in great waves and spurts. Seems like a neat tool for organizing.

  49. One of my favourite games is “End-of-the-month random-ingredient Recipe Invention”. It entails peering into the bare pantry cupboard, scrounging through the sparsely populated freezer shelves, gathering the last of the fresh produce- and making a miracle happen. As much as I love this kind of challenge, and the response it yeilds from my husband (you made THIS from what we had in the house? Amazing!), I believe it’s time for a bit more forethought. With a HUNGRY two year old, and a busy four month old- I think I should start to PLAN to EAT.

  100. This sounds like an awesome way to plan, organize and stay healthier. I am terminally ill with stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver and bone death and I have been trying to find something to help me track healthier recipes, nutritional information and then head to the grocery store. My memory is greatly affected by the cirrhosis so I forget a lot. This sounds like a much easier way to plan. 🙂
