Simple living spotlight: share your story

Once or twice a month (or so), we love to share YOUR story on the blog about how you’re learning to simplify your life. Big or small, there’s probably something in the telling of your story that would encourage and inspire someone else. Letting go of your stuff? Awesome. Learned a parenting tip that’s simplifying your life? Love. Left your ‘meh’ job for work you now love? Incredible. Would you like to tell us more and be featured on The Art of Simple? This is your chance!

Share your story on The Art of Simple!

Would you like to be featured as a Simple Living Spotlight Story? We've created a short submission form to make the process easy for you to share your space with the community. Just follow the instructions below...
  • (don't worry, it won't be published!)
  • (ex: Austin, TX; southern Italy; the Pacific Northwest)
  • (ex: teacher and engineer; entrepreneurs; graphic designer and stay-at-home dad)
  • Your Story

Be as specific as you can, but feel free to be generous with your story! This series is about featuring a particular idea, so while you might have five fantastic success stories in your life, just tell us one per submission. (Examples: how you've gotten out of debt, when you changed to a career more aligned with your skills and passions, the nuts and bolts behind your family's living with one car, how you travel, a trick to organizing your kitchen, how you make time for date nights or free time, why you line-dry your clothes, what happened when your family started volunteering together, why you got rid of all your CDs... or a million other ideas!)
  • (books, blogs, places, ideas, seasons, celebrations—whatever you want to share!)
  • Photos

Quality of photos will be a determining factor in featuring your story, so please make sure they are clear, bright, and at least 620 pixels wide and 72 dpi (with a max of 960 pixels wide). Also, please make sure you are allowed to have them published.
  • (ex: your streamlined closet, a recent adventure from your travels, working at a job you love, something you do with the free time you've found, etc.)
