Nicole lives near the beach in Southern California with her husband and three young kiddos. She writes a a lifestyle blog about creativity, family life, community, and all sorts of other fun stuff, and also keeps a homeschool journal called The Bennettar Academy. Her most recent (free!) ebook is about why and how to make more time for reading.

Today is the final day of our annual Home for the Holidays week! While I”m sad to wrap things up, it has been a fun week, and we”re ending with a fabulous giveaway today.

After going through Sewing School last month, I have a feeling many of you are itching to really dive in with sewing… and what does one need to do that? That”s right, fabric! So how about a stack of beautiful coordinating fabric to get you started or inspire you for a new project or two?

The Lucky Penny line from Andover Fabrics was designed by the lovely Alison Glass. It is a stunning collection with a range of colors and prints.

These beautiful photographs showcase how nicely the prints go together in a quilt (quilts pictured were made by Alison). I was just pondering how I”m going to outfit my new master bedroom and I think a quilt out of Alison”s fabrics will be the perfect centerpiece to my new room!

Lucky Penny came to me at the perfect time, when I was prepping to make some handmade gifts. I picked a few prints out and got started on these sweet owls for my kids.

Photos (except owl) by Alison Glass

You can visit Alison”s website to get information on where the fabric can be bought (lots of online outlets!), and get more inspiration from her lovely photography.

Would you like to win a set of the Lucky Penny fabrics? I can only imagine what beautiful gifts you”ll be able to make. The fabrics themselves would make the sewista/quilter in your life very happy as well.
