Your Money or Your Life: 9 Steps to Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Achieving Financial Independence
A classic for a reason, I’ve narrowed it down to this book as my favorite book on finance (and I’ve read quite a few). And the reason I like it so much is because it argues that time is actually more valuable than money—which is why it’s more important to pursue work that matters to you and not just provides the biggest paycheck, for example. It’s a compelling argument to align your life with your deepest values, but it also provides helpful tips for things like getting out of debt and living on a realistic budget. This is a money book for everyday people who simply want more out of life.
