Crazy weekend! How about you?  I definitely need to keep things simple this week, so our menu follows suit.

  • MONDAY: chicken biscuit pie (love this as an easy alternative to chicken pot pie)
  • TUESDAY: breakfast tacos
  • WEDNESDAY: stir fry
  • THURSDAY: sandwiches and fruit for a waterfront picnic (if the weather’s still gorgeous)!
  • FRIDAY: homemade pizza – this is the best crust I’ve yet tried
  • SATURDAY: mama’s chicken stew – didn’t get around to this one last week
  • SUNDAY: grilled cheese sandwiches & tomato soup – ditto; we went to a friend’s house for dinner

  1. Weekends are always busy at my house!

Looks like you have a yummy week planned. I did the chicken biscuit pie once and only once! My kids complained that they didn’t like soggy biscuits! LOL Soooo I still do it up but don’t put the biscuits on top anymore! LOL!

    Enjoy your week!

  2. My family loves the chicken biscuit pie, too. Have a great week!

  3. Gorgeous blog, Simple Mom! I’ll be back. :)

I’m looking forward to your Dave Ramsey tips. I plan on reading his book in the next month or two and making some changes…

Thanks for stopping by and commenting at ‘my place’ earlier!

  4. Great menu. I love the idea of breakfast tacos for dinner!
