Nicole lives near the beach in Southern California with her husband and three young kiddos. She writes a a lifestyle blog about creativity, family life, community, and all sorts of other fun stuff, and also keeps a homeschool journal called The Bennettar Academy. Her most recent (free!) ebook is about why and how to make more time for reading.

This week starts our first official full week of summer! School is out and the kids are ready for some summer fun.

Isn’t that top photo a great shot? It’s so the epitome of summer to me (that’s Gigi and my brother, a few years ago). I have so many fun memories from growing up, and honestly, most of them are from the days of summer; I hope that’s how my kids remember their childhood, too.

I’m excited to share a great free resource with you today, Life Your Way‘s Summer Fun eBook, chock full of ideas (more than 40 recipes, crafts, activities and planning tips, to be exact) to help you make the most of your summer.

It includes my (famous? In my house it is anyway…) Blueberry Honey ice cream recipe and so many other good ideas and recipes. Read on for the PDF download and some more great printables.

I think you will really enjoy this fun book of ideas that my friend Mandi put together– it includes submissions from all around the blogosphere. Just check out the preview below!

If the preview above is not working for you, click here to download.

Mandi has published so many great resources. I wanted to share some more helpful summer printables today, too.

What’s your favorite childhood summer memory? Mine is probably camping at the lake with good friends every year. I’d love for you to share your favorites so we can all glean more great ideas! Happy Summer!

  1. I just downloaded the ebook and the internal temperature cheat sheet. Thanks!

  2. Great collection of very useable ideas. Thanks!

  3. Favorite place in the world is the beach I grew up going to. Can’t wait to be back on vacation there next week!
I also love going to the Greasy Pole event where drunk men run across a pole above the water covered in tar. Unique experience in every way!
